Cathy Spencer

Cathy Spencer founded Gateway Professional Insurance Services in 1983 and has guided the company ever since with consistent growth in all lines of insurance; personal, commercial and life and health. Gateway has grown from Sole Practitioner to a staff of 9 full time licensed Insurance Sales Professionals. The number of major insurance carriers represented and the overall client base continues to grow each year.

Cathy has served in leadership positions with several local organizations including the Vacaville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Mercury Insurance Agent Advisory Council and The Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR). She has also been the recipient of several awards including “Ambassador of the Year” from the Vacaville Chamber of Commerce and “Member of the Year” from the Solano chapter of WCR.

Cathy achieved her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2008 and served as President of The Solano Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers Association.
